Happy 10th Anniversary LIVIN’ JUST ENOUGH!!

Ten years ago today, I gave birth to my career as an author with the release of my first book. Who could imagine that that one little story would be the beginning of a full grown book series!

On October 8, 2003, I released the original version of my first book, LIVIN’ JUST ENOUGH through AuthorHouse (they were called “1st Books” at the time). Publishing my first paperback was quite an experience that I am STILL learning from. Since the release of the original LIVIN’, I have released two new versions. An updated LIVIN’ (still with just Rachael’s side of the story and a little bit of history between Rachael and Aaron) was released in 2012. After a very thorough reader review, I was prompted to give my readers the fellas’ side to Rachael’s story. The “What He Did For Her Love” Edition of LIVIN’ was released in 2013.

As I said, LIVIN’ is the beginning of my first book series, SistaGirlz: an Urban Fairy Tale book series. LIVIN’ introduced us to the main SistaGirl, Rachael Wallace. Read further into the series and you are introduced to Rachael’s fellow SistaGirlz: Layla Michaels (ILLUSIONS); Raven and Imani Powers (NEVA SAW IT COMIN’); Meeka James (UNEXPECTED DETOURS); Angela DeVille (UNFORGIVABLE); Nina DeVille (HER IDEAL HUSBAND); JaShel Jackson (THE FAITHFUL CHEATER, et al.) and Clarissa (HER LAST SEVEN DEADLY SINFUL DAYS, et al.). Each of these women are interconnected through Rachael, either through bloodlines or friendship as these “Sisters from other Misters” guide each other through the ups and downs of their diverse relationships.
