Venting is good for you… Right?

For a brief shining moment, someone utilized my advice giving talent to create an advice column for their magazine (Thanks Bobby!) Although I’m no longer doing the column, I still offer advice when requested. But where does the advice columnist go when SHE needs advice? Other than prayer, I really feel lost because the people I want to discuss don’t want to hear what I have to say about them so I try NOT to vent to others about them but from time to time I slip which is too easy for me since for the past 10 years I’ve only had myself and my friends to talk to and vent with. Just because I’m married now doesn’t mean I’m always going to go to him. Granted, if it’s about him, he is the first if not only person to go to but even THAT isn’t as easily done as said.

At some point I’m going to tell my husband everything that’s bugging me but I really don’t believe he needs to or wants to hear EVERYTHING. I think I’m going to have to use my blog more often. That or I need to find a counselor cuz I can’t afford to drink my problems away!
