#FirstLineFriday: JaShel’s Trilogy
Don’t you dare cry over his punk ass!
Debating whether to toss my husband’s clothes out onto the front lawn or piling them in his car for a bonfire, I held my anger close as the phone conversation replayed in my head.
These are the first few lines of JaShel’s Trilogy, a book in my SistaGirlz Urban Fairy Tale book series. What do you think?
I was challenged to try First Line Friday by Deidra Alexander at https://deidraalexander.com/. Okay, Deidra I accept your challenge.
You can play along at home. Here’s what you do.
- Create a post on your blog titled #FirstLineFriday, hashtag and all.
- Explain the rules like I’m doing now.
- Post the first one or two lines of a potential work, a work-in-progress, or a completed or published story.
- Ask your readers for feedback and then encourage them to try #FirstLineFriday on their blogs (tagging is encouraged but not necessary).
WIP: Livin’ Just Enough
Editing still in process. I’m up to the original chapter 14 of Livin’ Just Enough and Hubby, who is reading the original, has read past me! 🙂 He’ll be the first one, if not the ONLY one, to read the updates. All of my other current and future fans will have to wait for the republished version. I need to figure out how to start a mailing list so that I can update everyone all at once. If anyone can help me with that, please comment! Thanx!
